Tips for success in business career

Risk:
For older people, to quit job and start a new business it could be high risk because of the huge opportunity cost, but for young people who have just graduated, or who have two or three years of work experience, they should give it a try. If you have the ideas, the resources are out there.

Money:
Do not change jobs just for an extra few thousand dollars. The key point to think about is what you want to achieve in life.

Office politics:
It is difficult to avoid politics, but you need to work with people. Managing expectations is important, whether they are the expectations of your boss, peers or subordinates. People do not like surprises.

Time to move on:
If I am not learning in the job, it is time to move because the world is moving fast. Any organization should be a learning one.
